Kalkan is perfect whether you simply want to relax on the beach or explore.  Like any other holiday destination you can take guided tours to local sites of interest but, Kalkan makes an excellent centre if you want to explore on your own. One of the best things about Kalkan is the number of restauarants in the village, ranging from cafes to gourmet dining experiences.  Many are situated on the roof-tops with lovely views to sea. All of the local shops are open till the early hours allowing you to take your time and browse whilst you walk off dinner. Don't worry about the walk home, taxis are plentiful and cheap.

Finish the evening by enjoying "one for the road" at one of the pavement cafes or bars before a final night-cap on the balcony overlooking the moonlit bay.
